The fifth day of competition was full of emotions and new EUG champions!

We started the day the best way possible, giving six medals to the University of Reading, who performed the best at the rowing finals. The Delft University of Technology did the second best result by winning four medals just like the University of Porto.

Table Tennis finals took place today as well and the University of Kazan was the great winner of the day by taking three medals home. The Turkish of the University of Nisantasi stood in the podium two times just like the University of Czestochowa and the University of Ostrava.

The day ended with the finals of the 3x3 basket, where the boys of the Vytautas Magnus University got the best against the Germans of the University of Goettingen, in an emotional game with a big audience. The girls of the University of Pitesti celebrated the gold medal as well after playing the final against The Vasyl Stefanyk University.

Besides the finals, badminton, handball, tennis, and volleyball competed today. Tomorrow you can watch the badminton and the handball finals, as well as tennis and volleyball which will close their competition at EUG2018 this Friday.
