Table Tennis Champions

Today, table tennis said goodbye to the Europen Universities Games with five finals that made our champions fight hard to get the medals. 

 

The University of Czestochowa, from Poland, got the gold against the Russian girls of the University of Kazan, in a tight race to the win. The bronze medal was given to the University of Paris and to the other female double of the University of Kazan. 

 

The men doubles were conquered by the Technical University of Ostrava, who got the best against the polish of the University of Rzeszow, who took the second place of the podium. Marmara University, from Turkey, won the bronze. 

 

Anna Blazho, from the University of Kazan, took the victory from Quien Xiao, from the University of Paris winning one more gold for the University of Kazan. The third place belongs to the University of Warsaw and the University of Czestochowa.

 

The University of Nisantasi, from Turkey, got both the gold and the silver medals on men's singles with Ibrahim Gunduz taking the win from his partner Abdullah Yigenler. The bronze went to the University of Ostrava and the University of Rzeszow. 

 

Elias Debeyssac, from the University of Bordeaux, was the great winner of the para-table tennis competition, winning over Alberto Seoane, from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia. The podium's third place was taken by the University of Siena and the University of Clermont Auvergne.
