The EUG2018 is one of the partners of Quebrajazz Festival, an important cultural event in Coimbra. This is the seventh edition of this Jazz Festival that starts this Friday, June 22nd, and will end on the September 1st.

For the EUG2018 this is an opportunity to add cultural events to the sports programme, one of the objectives of the organization.

Quebrajazz Festival will occur every Friday and Saturday in Coimbra City Centre. The event is organized by Quebra Costas Cultural Association and the entrance is free.

The programme includes a homage to Dixieland, with Latin América Sounds. Several important names of the Portuguese Jazz will perform on this Festival.

A total of 23 festival nights, 15 different performances during 11 weekends. Two of them during the European Universities Games.
