European University Sports Association (EUSA) in cooperation with European Universities Games 2018 (EUG2018) and with the support of the Club of Donors, assured a special development fund for EUG2018, giving an answer to one of EUSA's aims: to strengthen and support its member federations, national university sports bodies in Europe. 

The support will be primarily granted to the active developing EUSA Members with no or low participation in EUSA events in the past 4 years. This year, the available funds from Development Fund will be enlarged due to the fact that also the EUG 2018 Organising Committee offered financial resources for co-financing the participation of the teams from developing countries.
