The European Universities Games started today, at 9 pm, with four sports entering the competition. Badminton, handball, table tennis and volleyball marked the beginning of the games.

It was a day of lots of competition and emotion, after months of preparation by all team and athletes to be at the centre stage of European universities sports. The waiting has ended! You can check all the results here.

Tomorrow, the same sports will compete alongside with tennis, on the day the Opening Ceremony will take place.
