Portuguese Universities Sports were yesterday night awarded during the Academic Association of Coimbra (AAC) annual gala, the 9th edition of the Francisco Salgado Zenha Awards. The event took place in Tertúlia d'Eventos in Coimbra.

One of the highlights of the gala was the presence of European Universities Sport Association (EUSA) President, Adam Roczek, among other directors of EUSA's Board, which are in Coimbra from today until Sunday for the EUSA's Convention and several meetings with European Universities Games (EUG) 2018 Organizing Committee.

The awards recognized the best from all 26 sports sections of AAC among them, the awards for best universities sports athletes (male and female), team and coach.
