Awards for the EUG's drawing contest "Values in Sport"

The EUG2018 launched a drawing contest dedicated to the subject "Values in Sport", which was promoted by the EUG2018 in association with IPDJ (Portuguese Sports and Youth Institute), through the Portuguese Plan for Ethics in Sport (PNED) and the General Board for Schools Stablishments.

 

About three hundred children participated and the awards for the top 3 drawings were given today at the Social Hub, in the sports complex of the University Stadium.  

 

The best drawing belongs to Henrique da Silva Marques, from the Basic and Middle School of Pampilhosa da Serra, who received first place and 500€ in sports equipment for the school. Then, Aleksandra Ustyuzhanina, from the Basic School of Quinta das Flores, got the second place of the contest and 250€ for the school. The last place of the contest's podium was occupied by Maria David de Sousa Lopes, who won 125€ for her school, João de Deus. 

 

The winning children also received EUG2018 diplomas and mascots.

 

This contest aimed to promote living through the values of sport and to stimulate creativity and artistic expression in primary education students in Coimbra, both from public or private schools.
